The worlds of
Nate Oldrin
A little guide to the OCs you'll see the most.
Keep in mind i have over 200 OCs in total; this carrd just showcases the stories i focus on the most, and it doesn't include fandom characters.most of the artwork and info is on my Patreon, which is consistently updated - it is the only full archive of all my work and stories!some of my OCs look alike; they're not variants of each other, i just like drawing this design!

Witches of the North
WotN has been my main story since 2005 - it's a fantasy duology that focuses on the main character, Chris, and his quest to help the love of his life reclaim Northland's throne. it's gone through a billion million revisions, story beats, plot points, twists, changes, etc, until i finally published book 1 in 2022! book 2 is currently in progress, though there is no timeline of completion.
i also plan on publishing book 1 with some minor changes through Substack, when i have the energy to dedicate to it.WotN combines my love of winter, tropes of memory loss, and the power of love above all evil. though horror isn't part of the genres, i like exploring slasher AUs! and many other AUs.i go through long periods sometimes when i don't draw/think about/talk about WotN, but i never forgot or abandoned it. it's always my baby, and always on my mind in some capacity. they are my specialest most close OCs.

Things look bleak for Christopher Hawks, a 23 year old trans man, this year: last September he shattered the legendary sword of the kingdom of Northland and is now being tracked down by the elite Hunters – events being a result of a few unfortunate choices made in order to help a Witch named Winter (who, in turn, also receives help from a Witch named Ian). Now Chris, following Winter’s lead and dragging along a few others with him, is on his way to (reluctantly) reach the current Queen and challenge her to a duel. But it seems that Winter is more than impatient – could there be a deadline to their mission? And why does everything seem a little too easy?

Celestian
Starlit Library
Celestian is the catch-all titles of the OC world i created with my partner, Courtney. there is no overarching story, simply different countries, different genres, different OCs doing their own thing in their own orbit. the stories sometimes overlap, but usually not.the main settings we use are: a university of magic and its daily life, and a futuristic city-state where mysterious murders keep happening...! we also make a million AUs for each story.we go through periods of becoming fixated on a specific storyline! the stories are 70% Roleplayed, 30% yelling back and forth to each other. i only draw the things i think would be interesting visually and try not to force myself to make "promo art" or anything i don't really think needs to be drawn, so really what you see is only 0.01% of the stories - i won't ever make a comprehensive guide or anything, since we don't need one. just enjoy the cute OCs! but questions about them are totally welcome.
nowadays the most common OCs you'll see from this world are:
Chase & Kip, Cheren, Chalice
Rhode (& Nota)found hereother characters can be found in these folders
Eden's End
Starlit Library
Eden's End is the Visual Novel project that me and my partner are working on. i want to avoid spoilers, so please head over to the itchio page for the current information!everything pertaining to mine and my partner's stories is in this collection!

Your name is Lev, and starting today, you are to be the ground operator for Team Gamma – the topmost team of NIRVANA pilots under the North Star Collective. Fifty years ago, on the cusp of an approaching all-out war between the North Star Collective and the Nossian Union - in the midst of an alien invasion, no less - a group of archeologists discovered old sealed ruins on an island south of the neutral nation of Doan. These ruins had contained a few interesting discoveries...
Lighthouse Cafe
another story by me and my partner. currently on hiatus, but was previously published on Tapas. you can read all available chapters here!someday we will revamp and do something with it, trust.

"It all began a million worlds ago at a town square."A slice of life series about the goings on at a popular cafe called Lighthouse, its employees and visitors, and how they connect through lifetimes.

WARNING: will mention heavy themes such as traumatic past, self-harm, mentions of hate crimes. one of the authors is jewish, both are mentally ill, and we will do our very best not to glorify any of the heavy topics mentioned. not explicit, but heavily implied. ALSO WARNING that this series will have... a lot of drama and miscommunication and emotions, it's not very plot-heavy. think of it like a sitcom with some drama and soap opera elements.
The Faustus de la Fuente series
another story by me and my partner. a constant WIP, though the skeleton for book 1 is complete!this is our most kid-friendly story though i wouldn't categorize it as children's lit, haha.

Faustus de la Fuente was, as he was often told, cursed: a child born in the time between time, in a space that didn’t exist — his birth had happened smack dab in the middle of daylight savings time in autumn, and he was often told that if he wasn’t careful, he would be late to everything in life.Even so, Faust has just started high-school at the prestigious 'Roberto de la Fuente' Academy of Specialized Arts (focusing on the magic of Calligraphy), he's making his first friends, his parents own the place, and even his tendency to be late can't stop him now. But mysterious things seem to be happening around the Academy: Faust swears he's seen a giant oozing monster stalking the halls, heard the cry of a werewolf, and the bothersome Science Alliance just keeps getting in the way...!Will Faust and his new friends uncover what lies in the depths of the mysterious basement and catch whoever is leaving black ink marks all over, or will things just get worse...?
The end of Break street
newest fixation. this is a story about a group of teen supersoldiers who aren't aware of their alter egos and the fact that their entire town is a facade to keep them docile... until a member of the group goes missing.
it falls under the Celestian umbrella.currently i'm using this story as an outlet for my intense love for supersoldier + memory loss + magic human experiments + horror + psychedelic art. so that's really probably all you'll see for now! i mainly draw Bryce.the charaters so far are:
Lorre (missing)
Bryce - The Weeper
Ealar
